Now, tell me that’s KNOT totally glam!!!!
My hairdresser kindly offered me instructions on how to style my own anti-mom-updo so that I could spend my childless, wedding anniversary weekend with my main man instead of sitting in the chair of my mane man! Here’s what my sweet, sweet stylist shared:
First, this “do” is for long-ish hair; anything shoulder-length or longer should work.
Back comb hair for volume and pull it back into a low ponytail using a band that matches your hair color.
Next, split the ponytail into 2 sections and tie them together into a knot.
Tie hair one more time into what will be a double knot.
Leave the ends loose or wrap them around the base of the ponytail and hide them by pinning them up with bobby pins that match your hair color.
This should give you a look that is glamorous enough for you to forget that as a mommy, your hair is barely brushed, barely washed and definitely does KNOT look like this!
